I’m going to say something that is going to make some people feel a type of way, and I know because I felt a type of way learning it.
God DOES NOT hear everyone’s prayers.
If you are a firm believer that every word written in the Bible is God breathed truth, then you know He doesn’t.
“When you spread out your hands, I will hide my eyes from you; even though you make many prayers, I will not listen; your hands are full of blood. Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes; cease to do evil,”
Isaiah 1:15-16.
Cease to do evil.
Make yourself clean (repent)
Remove evil from your deeds (stop doing things that are bad)
Even though you make MANY prayers, I WILL NOT LISTEN.
Why?
“The LORD is far from the wicked: but he hears the prayer of the righteous” (Proverbs 15:29).
A righteous person, is not someone who ”ACTS” better, they are righteous because they are in right standing with God through obedience in Christ and through the forgiveness of their sins through FAITH.
A wicked person is someone who is unholy.
I’m not here to debate with anyone either. There’s many scriptures in the Old and New Testament that speak on this.
